A season that truly celebrates colour, spirit and kindness, Christmas is a special time of year that captures all of our imaginations. So we decided to get our creative energies flowing and rustle up some fun and festive decor inspo to make your Christmas shine!  

Check out these simple yet stunning ideas to capture the magic of Christmas ISHKA style…

Christmas ornament mobile

Decorate your home with a festive style that combines your love of nature and colour!

Find the perfect branch and loop your decorations through the centre. A wide variety of shapes, colours and textures has the best effect. 

Secure twine around both ends of the branch – now your new boho Christmas mobile is ready to hang wherever you wish (we recommend a neutral backdrop)!

Mini tee-pee Christmas tree

Up the creativity of your nature-meets-colour decor style by stringing together a stick-framed Christmas tree full of festive charm!

First, decide upon the height of your tree and collect a few sticks of similar length. Use coloured twine to tie around the top of the sticks to bind them together.  Position them onto the floor and decorate with colourful garlands and hanging ornaments.

You should now be the proud owner of a tee-pee style Christmas tree. Now all you need are beautifully wrapped presents to match!

Boho-beautiful gift wrap

Thoughtfully-wrapped gifts always create that extra special piece of Christmas magic.

Add free-spirited flair to your gift-giving by mixing in bold, non-traditional holiday colours and cultural patterns with neutral or recycled wrap. Tie your favourite ISHKA ornament or paper craft decoration to the top of the gift as the perfect finishing touch.

Christmas peace wreath

Radiate peace-loving vibes with a handmade peace wreath that greets your guests at the door!

Collect a few sticks of similar length and position them to form a peace symbol within a circular frame made either of bamboo or recycled wire. Secure all the pieces together with twine.  

Wrap sections of vine around the circular frame (we used passionflower vine to beautiful effect!) Delicately work in lightweight ISHKA decorations into the vine-covered frame to add little bursts of colour.

ISHKA Christmas bon bon

Make it a cracking ISHKA-inspired Christmas with a set of homemade bon bons.

Simply grab any bon bon making kit and fill it with ISHKA goodies! We used wishing dolls, gemstones, keyrings and miniature animal statues….have fun and let your imagination run wild!

Finish off the bon bons with patterned ISHKA gift wrap and paper decorations.

Wow your guests on Christmas day with a joyful table setting they won’t forget!

Be as creative as you like but a good rule of thumb is to work in bold colours and cultural prints with natural elements and subtle textures (the Macrame wallhanging created a beautifully textured underlay through the centre of the table!) Our vibrant Malamine dining range also worked a treat with a variety of multi-colour tealight holders. Divine!
